Denise was born and raised in Michigan. She spent much of her life downstate but purchased a home in Gaylord in 2016 on Otsego Lake, where she, her husband, Dean, and their dog, Sebastian, reside.
Denise has 40+ years professional work experience, focusing the last 25 years in the legal industry consulting with attorneys and corporate counsel regarding the preservation and collection of ESI and actively counsels corporations in preparation for and responding to ESI requests for DOJ and SEC inquiries. Denise's experience with eDiscovery from collection through production spans many industries including manufacturing, automotive, finance, retail, marketing government, energy, healthcare and insurance. Her expertise involves matters related to numerous forms of government investigations including anti-trust, as well as large complex commercial litigation, theft of intellectual property and other labor and employment matters.
She also consults with Information Security professionals on all aspects of proactive and reactive cybersecurity including risk management, security assessments, incident response planning and data breach response.
Denise has served on various industry boards and has held a Chair position on the Association of Certified eDiscovery Specialists Board for the past 11 consecutive years.
